Challenge
Steritech were experiencing significant growth in a particular field of their business which required a high security and high care controlled environment for processing. This needed to be done in a short amount of time in view of TGA audits and sign off.
Solution
Trotek took on the design of the project by incorporating a secure vault system on the ground floor and a controlled ISO 7 & 8 cleanroom system on the first floor for processing. This created one secure and controlled location for both storage of the sensitive material and the processing of this raw product. Trotek designed the mechanical system to ensure this met the stringent ISO 7 & 8 conditions for the operation of the room.
Implementation
The implementation was carried out over weekends and non-disruptive hours so that the business could remain in operation during the construction. Steritech is now one of the only facilities in Australia that both stores and processes this secure substance which has brought a unique advantage to their business.
