Trotek is an Australian construction company specialising in complex pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturing, biotechnology and controlled environment facilities, with a focus on live operating sites.

We exist because traditional project delivery models do not work in live environments. When design, cost and construction are split across multiple parties, risk is pushed back onto the client and projects lose certainty.

We take a different approach.

Trotek delivers projects through a single integrated team where design, cost planning and construction are aligned from day one. This allows us to take full ownership of cost, programme and risk, rather than passing it on.

Our process begins with a staged design phase that gives clients early clarity on layout, cost and delivery before committing to construction. As the design develops, we engage the market in real time, test pricing and progressively build certainty into the project. Once the scope is finalised, we commit to a fixed outcome and carry that responsibility through to completion.

Because our construction team is involved from the start, we design what we build and build what we design. This removes disconnects, reduces delays and avoids costly redesign.

We work closely with our clients to align facility design with User Requirements Specifications (URS), and develop Design Specifications (DS) and Functional Specifications (FS) with the associated protocols required to support commissioning and validation. This ensures the facility is not only buildable, but fully prepared for qualification and operational use.

We specialise in live operating environments where facilities must be upgraded or expanded without disrupting production. By planning staging, coordination and delivery early, we ensure projects are executed with minimal impact on ongoing operations.

The result is a more controlled, transparent and accountable way to deliver high performance facilities, with fewer surprises and a clear path from concept to completion.
